For children who are unable to attend school due to mental or physical health. Funded by the NHS and held at The Quarry Chapel, Cam.
Creative cafe is a lovely initiative for those struggling. Every week, young people and their adults (parents, grandparents, guardians) gather for two hours of art alongside others in a similar health situation. Set up as a relaxed cafe atmosphere, families sip on hot drinks, have their lunch, enjoy cake (also made by other young people) and dive into guided art activities, led by myself. It's more than just art - it's a chance to unwind, explore and simply be, in a nurturing space where there's no rush or expectations.
